Hacking is about gaining access to a particular system by identifying the weakness in computer systems or networks to exploit its weakness.
Who are hackers?
Hackers are the ones who use computers for unauthorized access to data. Hackers are usually skilled computer programmers with knowledge of computer security.
Computers have become mandatory to run a successful business. It is not enough to have isolated computer systems; they need to be networked to facilitate communication with external businesses. This exposes them to the outside world and hacking. Types of Hackers:

Ethical Hackers (White Hat):
A hacker who gains access to the computer to resolves the identify weaknesses of the computer system. They perform penetration testings and vulnerabilities assessments.
Cracker (Black hat):
A hacker who gains unauthorized access to computer systems for personal gain. The intent is usually to steal data, violate privacy rights, transfer funds from bank accounts.
Grey hat:
A hacker who is in between ethical and black hat hackers. They break into computer systems without authority to identify weaknesses and reveal them to the system owner.
Script kiddies:
A non-skilled person who gains access to computer systems using already made tools.
Hacktivist:
A hacker who uses hacking to send social, religious, and political, etc. messages. They hijacked websites and leave messages on the hijacked websites.
Phreaker:
A hacker who identifies and exploits weaknesses in telephones instead of computers.
